Lemon Spritz Bottega

The Spritz is a traditional Italian cocktail with a long history, linked to the Habsburg domination in the Lombardy-Veneto Kingdom. To create the Lemon Spritz we were inspired by our Bottega Spritz, a cocktail based on sparkling wine, Limoncino - our lemon liqueur - and mint leaves. The Lemon Spritz is a ready-to-drink cocktail with a low alcohol content, with a pleasantly refreshing taste that makes it a new and interesting version of the classic Spritz.

And in Italy, from 1945 to today, it couldn't be otherwise! The Second World War had just ended and, in that of Civitavecchia , Angelo Molinari began to produce and distribute this sweet and strong liqueur all over the world. aromatic: Sambuca Extra Molinari. From very ancient origins, which go back to Carthusian herbal tradition , Sambuca takes its name from the plant from which the extract is extracted, the flower of elder , also if the main ingredient is the essential oil obtained from the distillation of star anise , a particular spice (the seeds of which are collected in a star-shaped pod) which gives it that unique and characteristic aroma.

The usual sambuca, in the splendid 75th anniversary limited edition bottle signed by Olimpia Zagnoli.

Limoncino limoncello BOTTEGA

It is produced from an infusion of Femminello Lemon skins. Cultivar characterized by a fine-grained peel and the high quality of essential oils. Grown naturally and without treatment, they are harvested to the highest degree of maturation, washed and peeled by hand eliminating the white (bitter) part and selecting only the yellow part, rich in essential oils. Lemon peels, thus obtained, are put into alcohol infusion for about 30 days. Finally, the addition of sugar and grappa of great quality is carried out that makes this Lemonade unique.
