We interviewed Stefano, one of the creators of the project.

How was Viscò born?

It takes shape by chance and for fun during one of the usual family gatherings. On a June afternoon a few years ago near a sour cherry plant, one of us, holding the ancient peasant recipe for the liqueur, launched the idea of preparing it.

The result was exceptional: many friends at the end of our dinners had the opportunity to taste it and encouraged us to continue and even increase home production.

From that moment on it was a crescendo and the "experiments" began to try to capture the best taste, and here we are with the first production started with the hope of arousing interest not only among friends and acquaintances and confident in a " Word of mouth".

We at Gecoshop.com tasted this first production and were impressed by the taste of this digestive liqueur.

It is a liqueur prepared with the infusion of only cherry and peach leaves, combined with alcohol, red wine and sugar, the result is exceptional, Visvò has an intense, particular, acidic but at the same time sweet flavour.

We recommend consuming it cold, perhaps combining it with chocolate but it also goes very well with traditional desserts and dry pastries but also with a creamy dessert, filled with cream, cream or chocolate.

Viscò is produced in 4 formats: 20 cl, 50 cl, 70 cl and 150 cl.

No, we initially start with 2 formats, 70 cl and 150 cl because we believe they are the most suitable for our customers, we will subsequently also include the 20 cl and 50 cl.
