J. Rose London Dry Gin

Enjoying J. Rose is like attending the premiere of the Teatro alla Scala.

The predominant notes are those of juniper. The nose is warm and pungent. The delicate citrus scents of bergamot and mandarin peels refresh the breath and give it a soft and silky balance.

The aroma of prickly pear flowers bounces from the nose to the palate and releases a fruity aftertaste.

The woody essence is given by the oak bark, characterized by toasted notes that evoke those of hazelnut and walnut.

Italian oranges combined with a selection of ripe Sicilian blood oranges are blended with the finest botanicals and hand-picked juniper to create a juicy and vibrantly flavored gin. The blood oranges harvested in November are strictly from Sicily and give the Malfy family orange gin a refreshing and sweet-sour citrus taste accompanied by an explosion of orange blossom flavor, and delicate notes of juniper that enchant the palate on the finish of the tasting.

Sorry ruby red color, orange blossom is felt on the nose with a touch of juniper, its taste is rich and sweet and sour citrus with a persistent finish, it is deliciously complex.

The story begins every June when the flowers of the vine appear and seem to have vanished in the blink of an eye.

Within a fleeting five-day period, each grape flower must be delicately hand-picked, capturing their precious aroma that won't be fully revealed until the distillation process. Vine flowers are selected, discarding all flowers that do not meet the highest standards. Then the selection is enclosed in a muslin bag and immersed in grape brandy to macerate for several days.
