Brunello di Montalcino is one of the most prestigious Italian wines. Known and renowned throughout the world, it is rightly considered one of the great reds capable of offering the greatest guarantees of longevity. Montalcino is located about 40 kilometers south of Siena, in a splendid hilly area. This rural and uncontaminated landscape is rich in historical and architectural suggestions. In 2004 it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage, as a World Heritage Site.
