Pampero is a distillery of Venezuela known worldwide for its Rum, an intense and velvety aroma, which has imposed itself as a new standard of reference and has given the Venezuelan distillate its new identity. Pampero it was founded in 1938 in Caracas by Alejandro Hernández and Luis Manuel Toro, two friends who shared the same passion for the production of rum and had the intuition to use oak barrels for the aging of the distillate for at least 24 months.

The Rum Pampero born in La Miel, a wonderful place in the western part of Venezuela. Quality and unique character are ensured by the use of carefully selected raw materials, rigorous production processes and equatorial climate. The sugar cane, thanks to the great thermal excursion between day and night, manages to pull out in this area its sweetest part. It is transported in distillery within 24 hours of harvesting, so as to preserve an excellent quality of the flavor and the sugar content of the potato. Moreover, the strategic position in the heart of Amazonia allows to draw on an excellent source of water, a fundamental element in determining the superior quality of rum Pampero. Compared to many other distilleries, Pampero uses different distillation processes to obtain spicy and aromatic rum among the purest and most appreciated in the world: production always sees a triple distillation, where the last phase will determine alcohol content and aroma intensity. The subtropical climate of Venezuela, characterized by high humidity and strong daily thermal shocks, favours a three-fold faster maturation than European countries and Whisky and Cognac. Among all products of Pampero especial, the first Venezuelan rum to officially get the name of anejo, and Blanco, ideal for cocktails and long drinks based on fruit. The rum Pampero it represents the pure soul of Venezuela and, thanks to its enveloping and unmistakable aromas and its taste of indisputable quality, has won a prominent place in the best bars of the world.
