It was just the end of World War II and, in that of Civitavecchia, Angelo Molinari began to produce and distribute, worldwide, this sweet and strongly aromatic liqueur: the Sambuca Extra Molinari. From ancient origins, which date back to certainsian herbal tradition, the Sambuca takes its name from the plant from which the extract is extracted, the flower of elderman, although the main ingredient is the essential oil obtained from the distillation ofstar anise, a special spice (whose seeds are collected in a star-shaped basin) that gives it that unique and characteristic aroma.

Amara is produced in small quantities, in a completely artisanal way, through seven infusions of the rind of the best red orange of Sicily Igp.
The fruits come from orange groves that lay their roots on the lava soil of the slopes of Etna a few kilometers from Catania. Vulcan is also the soil from where spring water flows, a fundamental element to give balance to Amaro Amara.
The peel extract adds an infusion of aromatic herbs from the formula and secret dosage and finally sugar. Each small batch of Amara is bottled without adding additives or dyes.

It is produced from an infusion of skins of the Female Lemon. Cultivar characterized by a fine grain peel and the high quality of essential oils. Cultivated natural and without treatments, they are collected at the highest degree of ripening, washed and peeled by hand eliminating the white part (amara) and selecting only the yellow part, rich in essential oils. The lemon peels, thus obtained, are put in alcohol infusion for about 30 days. Finally, the addition of sugar and grappa of great quality makes this Limoncino unique.

The Distilled Dry Gin Bacûr owes its unique character to botals with which it is produced. The juniper berries, sage leaves and lemon peel are left to macerate for a long time in a hydro-alcoholic solution and then proceed to a double distillation that, by purifying the liquid from any unwanted scents, allows to obtain an elegant distillate from the fine and clean bouquet. The final character of this gin, therefore, is linked to its components but its quality and complexity depend not only on the number of plants used but also on the conditions of extraction of the aromatic components from each of them.
