The morphological configuration of Umbria, for the geological specificity of the territory, has determined a peculiar quality of the waters of the hydromineral basins. The mineral waters in Umbria have, for the most part, very different chemical-physical characteristics among themselves depending on the hydrominerary basin of origin. Recent studies show that from a hydrogeological point of view the FONTE TVLLIA is a magnesiac-calcical oligomineral water, typical of carbonatic aquifers. Moreover, according to the water classifications based on their origin and composition, introduced by the Russian scholar Chebotarev, the SOURCE TVLLIA water can be defined bicarbonate-alkaline.

From a normative point of view, however, the FONTE TVLLIA Water is oligomineral, indicated for poor diets of sodium and microbiologically pure.

The privileged position of the source, half-coast, combined with the particular hydrogeographic configuration of the source, guarantee exceptional stability over time of chemical-physical parameters.

The water flows directly from a rock slit at 566 meters s.l.m. and it is precisely this wonder of nature to make it particularly valuable. This type of gum, in fact, not only guarantees optimal and constant organoleptic characteristics over time, but allows to drastically reduce human intervention in the phase of collection. That is to say, the total absence of interventions that usually affect the pumping from the groundwater during the collection, guarantees purity and hygiene to the product. Finally, the high flow rate provided by the source does not require any storage practice of the product, nor any variation of the fluid conduct regime. In other words, the water, coming from the source, is conveyed directly into the production lines. The surplus of the product, however, is returned to nature, defluencing in the Vigi, one of the most picturesque rivers of Valnerina.

Moreover, the source is located in a substantially healthy and uncontaminated territory, far from cultivations, farms and industrial settlements.
