The Domenis experience also serves the national and regional valorization of the grappa: Silvano Domenis, president for about 25 years of the Consorzio di Tutela Grappa Friulana, cooperates in the elaboration of the regulation of the European Council that in 1989 limits the use of the name “grappa” only to the distillates of vinaccia produced in Italy. Now the fourth generation of the Cividale del Friuli family, with Cristina Domenis in management, marks a further moment of growth of the company. A targeted organization, new skills grafting, increasing sensitivity to environmental protection and quality control systems and a market approach that takes into account a new way of drinking grappa.
