The wines of the cellar Fontana delle Selve.

Wine cellar Fontana delle Selve, was born in Castelvenere at the end of the 1990s, recovering the ancient wine activity of the Falato family. The commitment around which the company was built inevitably originates from the wine vocation of the territory of Castelvenere, an ancient medieval village that gave birth to San Barbato. All its territory, today a symbol of sannita viticulture, takes shape, color and perfume right around the vine, as well as the life of its inhabitants is marked by the vegetative age of this plant. Our work starts from the ground and the vine, in the awareness that only a responsible and balanced relationship with these elements is able to protect the natural resource and, therefore, generate value.

Today Castelvenere boasts a very fertile territory, surrounded by gentle hills. It is crossed by the river Calore, by the Seneta stream that is born, 600 m, from the mountain Cup and pours into the river Calore. The agricultural production is mainly focused on the cultivation of grapes (in fact Castelvenere is the most lively country in the Campania region) from which an excellent wine is obtained. The chestnut territory is divided into four districts: Forest, Marraioli, Petrara, Tore. It is part with 40 other municipalities of the Campania region, of the national association city of wine. It is part of the Titerno Mountain Community.
