The “NUMA Secundus Rex” of Valle del Marta is a very special reserve, the long aging is spent resting in three different types of wood barrels.

Manufactured by Valle del Marta, is a distillate with strong personality and intense honey color that transcends in a dark garnet.

The wide and complex scent is accompanied by sweet notes of bitter almond and wild black cherry that fascinate and intrigue the tasting. The palate is round, warm and velvety, with a soft and persistent aftertaste.

In the mouth is warm and velvety, with a soft and persistent aftertaste.

The distillate was awarded first place in the global competition World Spirits Competition which was held San Francisco in march 2020, is considered the Best Brandy in the World and is produced in Tarquinia in the province of Viterbo.

Red Bitter Cherry Valle del Marta

It is a bitter liqueur prepared with a base of aromatic herbs, fruits and spices.

The dominant characteristic is the visciola or sour cherry, a small and particularly coloured fruit, with a slightly sweet and acre flavor even if ripe. The cold water infusion of this fruit gives the liquid an intense bright red color. The aroma enhances the scent of cherry; despite the bitter herbs typical of a digestive liqueur, the taste is pleasant, almost tamed with red fruit that persists even in the aftertaste.

Sambuca 30% of the Valle del Marta is visually transparent, the smell shows the indistinguishable fresh notes of anise, the palate immediately shows a good balance between the alcohol level, the sugar density and the flavor of star anise that persists in the mouth also thanks to the density determined precisely by the percentage of sugar present in infusion.

The Sambuca 30% for its gradation is flanked by the best known use of this liqueur, as a correction to coffee, smooth or with an ice cube or as a typical Italian tradition, “to the fly” or, with a coffee bean infusion in the glass.

A liqueur prepared with the cold hydro-alcoholic infusion of herbs and roots grown and collected in the valley of the Marta river, in Tarquinia.

The aggrumato is given by the infusion of the peel (only the orange part) of the «merangola or merangle» an orange typical of the Italian peasant tradition.

In the town of Tarquinia there are traces of this shrub since 1300, where farmers used fruit juice to aromatize bruschetta, or the peel to smell some types of vegetables during cooking.

Description: Visively the bitter has a color ranging from the burned amber to black coffee, in the backlight with bitter streaks. In the perfume prevails the scent of citrus that leaves only little space to the spicy and herbaceous notes that characterize a bitter. The taste is complex, enveloping, pleasing, rich in taste.

Grandma generous herbal liqueur Valle del Marta

It is certainly the liqueur that gave rise to the opening of a factory for the transformation of alcoholic infusions in the company. The liqueur takes its name from Grandma Moretti Generosa, the grandmother of Mario and Franco, the brothers who today manage the Valle del Marta. In family stories, it is remembered that at home of the Grandparents, there was always a pot over the wood stove, with ready this alcoholic tea and that it served to warm the return home after a long day in the fields, not only, after meals was almost a ritual, a glass of infusion, in fact takes from there the name. They remember the men who said: “Give me a drink of Grandma Generosa liqueur” at the end of the meal. Even today, it is possible to taste it at the end of the meal.
