The Barricata Private Reserve originates from a Amarone grappa reserve. The result of the distillation of fermented grapes from the production of the very fine Amarone della Valpolicella wine is the result of the passion and skill of the distillers masters, capable of transforming a solid raw material into a transparent and crystalline liquid, from the exceptional organoleptic profile. The long aging in wood gives it the characteristic intense amber color and enriches its bouquet, giving life to a grappa that is striking and intriguing able to satisfy even the palates of the most demanding connoisseurs.

The grappa, the oldest and most traditional distillate in Northern Italy, is obtained from the solid residue of the pressing of the wine grape. Grappa barricade Bottega

Grappa di Cabernet e Merlot . Slender and elegant, it is characterized by amber color of the content. The combination of Cabernet and Merlot grapes gives rise to a round, full and important grappa. The steam distillation, developed by Bottega, enhances the organoleptic characteristics of the grapes of the two vines. This grappa is aged for about 12 months in barrique, where it acquires the hints of vanilla and the characteristic amber color.

Sandro Bottega Fumé is a selection of Prosecco grappa aged in oak barrels subjected to a special process of smoking wood.
The name Prosecco immediately brings to mind the wine known all over the world. From the green yellow grapes of the Glera vine are obtained scented marc that, still fresh and vinous, are distilled according to the method of Sandro Bottega. The resulting grappa is left to mature in smoked casks fuoco.Questo delicate process increases the aromatic charge of barriques, which give the distillate the typical amber color and the pleasant scents of smoked wood.

Grappa Giovane Bottega

The Bottega Distillate grapes were created by a sophisticated blend of grapes with a remarkable organoleptic heritage. The vinacce, healthy and still mostose, are distilled in three stages at different temperatures in traditional copper alembics, which allow vacuum processing (more protection of aromas) and in which heating takes place in a bathroom (indirect and therefore more delicate system).

Grappa Tarquinia reserves aged excellence Valle del Marta

After the distillation of the marc, the Tarquinia Excellence grappa is immediately planted in wooden barrels for a minimum in 36 months up to 72 months. The long aging, makes the grappa soft, warm and caressable and balanced.

The straw yellow color recalls the color of the wood, which in turn enriches the scents with a slight aftertaste of tobacco.

Tardiva is an aged grappa obtained by distilling the skins of a selection of passite grapes resulting from the production of the very fine Amarone della Valpolicella wine. Fruit of a millenary tradition, the grappa is a product able to evoke atmospheres and emotions that have been handed down intact until today. Tardiva is the result of this ancient history but also of the evolution in the technique of distillation of marc and the use of modern technologies: an elegant and refined distillate that, thanks to the aging in wood, is enriched with unique and unmistakable notes.

The unmistakable character of OF ligneum Miele di Tiglio comes from the union of a lively and intense aged grappa, characterized by notes that can be traced to the scents of ripe red fruit and spicy tones, with the particular balsamic shades of Italian lime honey.

This creates an apparent and inimitable combination of softness, roundness and body.

Tarquinia bitter herb traditional recipe Valle del Marta

Tarquinia liquor of the peasant tradition, prepared with a cold hydroalcoholic infusion of 20 different herbs cultivated and collected in Valle del Marta tarquinia.

Amaro, with a pleasant taste, also suitable with addition of ice, water and a bitter orange peel as a refreshing drink.

The herbal compound makes it an excellent digestive after meals.

It was Aldo Bottega in 1977 to found the Distilleria Bottega. Son of art and master distiller, he learned among the alembics the secrets of the distillation of marc, precious raw material used for the production of grappa. The Aldo Bottega Barricata, thanks to the wise aging in oak barriques, is characterized by amber color, full taste and spicy scents.

The Amarone Privata Classica grappa was born from the grapes obtained by pressing the passite grapes used to produce the most precious red of Valpolicella, Amarone, a wine of great body and structure and unique personality. The care of this rich raw material, from the incredible concentration, is the first and most important step; it follows the distillation that is carried out in three stages.

Grapes are obtained by distilling the fermented must in the presence of the skins, so it is used both the solid part and the liquid part of the grapes. Powerful, intense and elegant, the Primo Assaggio Puro Grado Acquavite d’Uva Bottega is produced from healthy bunches and rich in must, a precious raw material and a great aromatic charge.

Intense and complex, the palate has fresh fruit notes.

Young Grappa Polivitigno®, fluent steam distillate. Its aroma recalls a red grape basket and undergrowth fruit, adorned by a rose.

Sarpa, the bridge between the past and the future.

This Grappa was conceived in 1983 but it took a few years to see the light.

They had the goal clearly: a Grappa that contained the aromas of Tradition, without however having the typical defects of the Grappa of once, pungent, aggressive and oily. It had to be an authentic, sincere, genuine Grappa, what I would call a classic Grappa today. Moreover, it had to be a bridge between Grappa of the past and that of the future, to represent the present of Grappa in its best typicality. It took time to figure out what vines to use and after several tests they oriented towards the intramountable Bordeaux cut, that assembly of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that gave rise to the best wines of the world, those of Bordeaux.

We recommend you to serve this grappa in large glasses at an ideal temperature of 18/20 C and taste it in small sips, keeping the bottle well closed to preserve its perfumes. Grappa Barricata, always in our distillery the grappas of the best vintages, distilled according to tradition in the characteristic copper alembics, are aged in small oak barrels of Slavonia, which give our distillate an amber color and a velvety scent, enhanced by the elegant and warm aromas of vanilla, tobacco and wood
