The history of the Galician gin Nordés began with a meeting of friends in front of a dish of octopus. A renowned sommelier winner of the Nariz de Oro award in 2004, a Galician wine entrepreneur and a master distiller began to dream of producing a Galician gin, elaborated with local ingredients, which was different from the other gins. And so, after many tests, they found the perfect formula to grasp the essence of Galicia, creating the present recipe of the Galicia Nordés gin.

Its characteristic white bottle is inspired by the traditional ceramics of Sargadelos, produced in Galicia in an artisan way, which stands out for the uniqueness of its designs and the use of white and blue colors. The name of our gin is a tribute to the NORDÉS wind that announces the arrival of good weather in Galicia.

Nordés stands out for its alcohol base that uses albariño grapes to obtain a delicate fragrance with fruity notes and white flowers, making it a pleasant and easy to drink gin.

Nordés is Galicia in a bottle. Its character, its taste and its aromas transport us in the freshness and simplicity of its earth. A herbaceous aroma, fresh, with notes of white fruit, delicate and balanced, making it a gin with a unique taste. A fruity gin perfect to enjoy the small pleasures of life.

Salvia, laurel, verbena odorosa, eucalyptus, peppermint, salicornia, ginger, cardamom, ibisco flowers, black tea and, of course, juniper. Each in its right measure to obtain the subtle and balanced notes that characterize the peculiar aroma of the Nordés Galician gin.
