Merlot Tre Venezie IGT Bottega

The geographical indication “TREVENEZIE” includes the region Veneto, the region Friuli Venezia-Giulia and the province of Trento. It owes its name to “Tre Venezie” or “Le Venezie”, with which it is still known today this territory of ancient history and wine tradition. Merlot, which is one of the varieties allowed by this IGT, is an international vine, red berry, capable of adapting well to any climatic and soil condition and is currently the most widespread and cultivated vine in the world.

Soave wine seems to take its name from the homonymous town founded by the Lombards, also called Svevi (Suaves). It was, in 1931, among the first Italian wines subject to a decree that limited the production area and was the first DOC area of the Veneto when, in 1968, the denomination of controlled origin “Soave Superiore”. The use of the “Classic” mention is reserved for the product obtained by vinifying autochthonous grapes grown on the hilly slopes of the municipalities of Soave and Monteforte, in which there is the “classical zone” or the historical one, original and more ancient tradition for this wine

The DOC Venezia is a name of recent origin. In fact, it was born in 2011, with the aim of promoting and enhancing the wines of a land with millenary wine history. It extends in the eastern part of the Pianura Padana and includes the provinces of Treviso and Venice, an area characterized by climatic and environmental conditions particularly favorable to the cultivation of different vines including Pinot Grigio, which derives from a gemmaria mutation of Pinot Nero, from which it acquired elegance and refinement.

Roero Arnesi is a typical wine from the Roero area. Characteristic unmistakable its sapidity, pleasantly bitter with floral and fruity notes.
