BITTER CHAPTER

Bitter Campari is a liqueur obtained from the infusion of bitter herbs, aromatic plants and fruit in alcohol and water. The recipe with which it is prepared is aware of very few professionals in the production process, however there are those who hypothesize there are more than 20, perhaps even up to 80, ingredients in its formulation. It has an intense aroma reminiscent of grapefruit and orange, to which weeds and cloves are added. In the mouth is characterized by a pleasant bitter taste, perceived on a warm and velvety background. Its versatility makes it an excellent basis for the preparations of famous cocktails such as American, Spritz and Negroni Wrong. Perfect for aperitifs.

Campari Soda is obtained from the perfect blend between Campari and carbon dioxide (selz).

Campari Soda was born in 1932: it is the first pre-mix “ready to use” in the history of low alcohol content.

Its unmistakable bottle of cone, designed by Fortunato Depero, is still today an icon of the Italian aperitif.
