Valpolicella is a land dedicated to the cultivation of the vine since ancient times: its name “val polis celle” means, in fact, “the valley of the many cellars.”. The wines of the Denomination of Origin "Valpolicella" are produced with native varieties of the territory such as Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara. Starting from these grapes are obtained important red wines, of great originality, typicality and international fame such as Valpolicella Classico, Valpolicella ClassicoSuperiore, Ripasso and Amarone.
