Amarone DOCG, the most prized red from Valpolicella and one of the most important Italian wines, has conquered the most refined palates all over the world in recent years, thanks to its unique and inimitable personality, its charm and its character of an ancient but at the same time modern wine.

The peculiarity of Amarone Prêt-à-Porter lies in the aging of four years which makes it particularly elegant, with great structure and long life. The American designer Denise Focil created a fashion bottle for Bottega which was in fact enriched by a label printed on a rectangle of light leather, framed by a series of metal studs.

Valpolicella has been a land dedicated to the cultivation of vines since ancient times: its name "val polis cellae" means, in fact, "the valley of the many cellars". Native varieties such as Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara are grown there, used to produce important red wines, of great originality, typicality and international renown. Amarone DOCG, the finest red of Valpolicella and one of the most important Italian wines, has conquered in recent years the most refined palates from all over the world, thanks to its unique and inimitable personality, its charm and its character of ancient but at the same time modern wine.

The peculiarity of amarone prêt-à-porter lies in the aging of four years that makes it particularly elegant, of great structure and long life. American designer Denise Focil has created a BOTTEGA -impact fashion bottle for the first time. The traditional bottle has in fact been enriched with a print printed on a rectangle of light skin, framed by a series of metal studs. The designer has also designed, also in leather, a case to measure the bottle.

Ruby red loaded with garnet shades.

Smell

The hints of fruit in jam stand out (marasca, plum) followed by tones of cocoa, tobacco, licorice, tea leaf, up to moss, skin and 'goudron' or the warm, ethereal, intense note, vaguely reminiscent of tar, without being unpleasant, typical of long-aging reds.

Taste

Wine of great structure, complex, enveloping, warm on the palate, with clear spicy scents (cinnamon, cardamom, black pepper) and tobacco, long persistence and a softness in perfect balance with acidity and tannic notes.

Combinations

Excellent in combination with grilled red meats, roast beef, ribs, cut, fillet (in crust and pepper), overcooked, game and very aged cheeses. Perfect as a "meditation wine", to be tasted slowly at the end of the meal, in order to fully perceive and appreciate all the different nuances of its complex and incredible bouquet.
