The result of the distillation of fermented grape skins that derive from the production of the precious Amarone della Valpolicella wine, it is the result of the passion and skill of the master distillers, able to transform a solid raw material into a transparent and crystalline liquid, with an exceptional organoleptic profile. The long aging in wood gives it the characteristic intense amber color and enriches its bouquet, giving life to a suaving and intriguing grappa capable of satisfying even the palates of the most demanding connoisseurs.

Cabernet and Merlot grappa. Slender and elegant, it is characterized by the amber color of the content. The combination of cabernet and merlot pomace gives rise to a round, full-bodied, important grappa. Steam distillation, developed by BOTTEGA, enhances the organoleptic characteristics of the grapes of the two vines. This grappa is aged for about 12 months in barriques, where it acquires the hints of vanilla and the characteristic amber color.

The Sandro BOTTEGA Fumé is a selection of Prosecco grappa aged in oak barrels subjected to a special wood smoking process.
The name Prosecco immediately brings to mind the wine known all over the world. From the green yellow grapes of the Glera vine you get fragrant pomace that, still fresh and vinous, are distilled according to the method of Sandro BOTTEGA. The resulting grappa is long left to ripen in smoked barrels over heat. This delicate process increases the aromatic charge of the barriques, which give the distillate the typical amber color and pleasant hints of smoked wood.

Distilled blending is BOTTEGA from a sophisticated blend of grapes with a remarkable organoleptic heritage. The pomace, healthy and still mustose, are distilled in three stages implemented at different temperatures in traditional copper stills, which allow vacuum processing (greater protection of aromas) and in which heating takes place in a bain-marie (indirect and therefore more delicate system).

Grappa Tarquinia aged reserve excellence Valle del Marta

After the distillation of the marc, the Tarquinia Excellence grappa is immediately planted in wooden barrels for a minimum of 36 months up to 72 months. The long aging makes the grappa soft, warm and caressing and balanced.

The straw yellow color recalls the color of wood, which in turn enriches the aromas with a slight aftertaste of tobacco.

La Tardiva is the result of this ancient history but also of the evolution in the technique of distillation of pomace and the use of modern technologies: an elegant and refined distillate that, thanks to aging in wood, is enriched with unique and unmistakable notes.

Tarquinia bitter with herbs traditional recipe from Valle del Marta

Tarquinia liqueur of the peasant tradition, prepared with a cold hydroalcoholic infusion of 20 different herbs grown and harvested in the Marta Valley in Tarquinia.

Bitter, with a pleasant taste, also suitable with the addition of ice, water and a bitter orange peel as a thirst-quenching drink.

The herbal compound makes it an excellent digestive after meals.

It was Aldo BOTTEGA in 1977 who founded the Distilleria Bottega. Son of art and master distiller, he learned among the stills the secrets of the distillation of pomace, a precious raw material used for the production of grappa. The Aldo BOTTEGA Barricata, thanks to the skilful aging in oak barrels, is characterized by its amber color, full flavor and spicy scents.

Amarone Privata Classica grappa comes from the pomace obtained from the pressing of the raisins used to produce the finest red of Valpolicella, Amarone, a wine of great body and structure and unique personality. Grape brandy is obtained by distilling the fermented must in the presence of the skins, for which both the solid part and the liquid part of the grapes are used. Powerful, intense and elegant, Primo Assaggio Puro Grado Bottega Grape Distillate is produced from healthy bunches rich in must, a precious raw material with a great aromatic charge.

Sarpa, the bridge between the past and the future.

This Grappa was conceived in 1983 but it took a few years for it to see the light.

They had the goal clear in mind: a Grappa that contained the aromas of Tradition, without however having the typical defects of the Grappas of yesteryear, pungent, aggressive and oily. It had to be an authentic, sincere, genuine Grappa, what today I would define a classic Grappa. Furthermore, it had to be a bridge between the Grappa of the past and that of the future, representing the present of Grappa in its best typicality. It took time to understand which grape varieties to use and after various tests they turned to the timeless Bordeaux blend, that blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that gave rise to the best wines in the world, those of Bordeaux.
