Tarquinia bitter with herbs traditional recipe from Valle del Marta

Tarquinia liqueur of the peasant tradition, prepared with a cold hydroalcoholic infusion of 20 different herbs grown and harvested in the Marta Valley in Tarquinia.

Bitter, with a pleasant taste, also suitable with the addition of ice, water and a bitter orange peel as a thirst-quenching drink.

The herbal compound makes it an excellent digestive after meals.

Grappa Aldo BOTTEGA Barricade

It was Aldo BOTTEGA in 1977 who founded the Distilleria Bottega. Son of art and master distiller, he learned among the stills the secrets of the distillation of pomace, a precious raw material used for the production of grappa. The Aldo BOTTEGA Barricata, thanks to the skilful aging in oak barrels, is characterized by its amber color, full flavor and spicy scents.

Grappa Riserva Privata Classica Amarone BOTTEGA

Amarone Privata Classica grappa comes from the pomace obtained from the pressing of the raisins used to produce the finest red of Valpolicella, Amarone, a wine of great body and structure and unique personality. The care of this rich raw material, with incredible concentration, is the first and most important step; distillation takes place in three stages.

First taste of pure grape brandy

Grape brandy is obtained by distilling the fermented must in the presence of the skins, for which both the solid part and the liquid part of the grapes are used. Powerful, intense and elegant, Primo Assaggio Puro Grado Bottega Grape Distillate is produced from healthy bunches rich in must, a precious raw material with a great aromatic charge.

Intense and complex, it has notes of fresh fruit on the palate.

Grappa Sarpa di Poli

Young grappa Polivitigno®, distilled with flowing steam. Its aroma is reminiscent of a basket of red grapes and forest fruit, adorned with a rose.

Sarpa, the bridge between the past and the future.

This Grappa was conceived in 1983 but it took a few years for it to see the light.

They had the goal clear in mind: a Grappa that contained the aromas of Tradition, without however having the typical defects of the Grappas of yesteryear, pungent, aggressive and oily. It had to be an authentic, sincere, genuine Grappa, what today I would define a classic Grappa. Furthermore, it had to be a bridge between the Grappa of the past and that of the future, representing the present of Grappa in its best typicality. It took time to understand which grape varieties to use and after various tests they turned to the timeless Bordeaux blend, that blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot that gave rise to the best wines in the world, those of Bordeaux.

Steam grappa barricaded BOTTEGA

We advise you to serve this grappa in large glasses at an ideal temperature of 18/20 C and taste it in small sips, keeping the bottle well closed to preserve its aromas. Grappa Barricata, always in our distillery the grappas of the best vintages, distilled according to tradition in the characteristic copper stills, are aged in small oak barrels of Slavonia, which give our distillate an amber color and a velvety scent, enhanced by the elegant and warm aromas of vanilla, tobacco and wood

Chianti grappa in BOTTEGA

Original glass flask, stuffed according to the centuries-old Italian tradition. In the peasant world it is a symbol of love for nature and for genuine things. Chianti is the famous Tuscan red wine, obtained from the skilful blend of local grapes. The grappa, produced with the pomace of the grapes that generate this wine, reproduces, in the guise of distillate, the characteristics of Chianti itself. Distillation takes place in a copper still, by means of a flow of steam, which passes through the pomace, retaining its aromas and alcoholic parts
